TapIn's Origin

TapIn's founder, Nick Kutheis, had the idea for TapIn in February 2021 after he signed an internship offer with a company in San Diego, CA. In the three months prior to his start date, he found it challenging (and a bit intimidating) using various social networking apps, with little success, to connect with other interns, full-time employees, and locals to learn about town specifics (safety, transportation, etc.) before he moved halfway across the country.
